I have had good luck with new manufacture ammo from foreign companies that is loaded into BRASS cases. (Avoid steel cased ammo like Wolf since steel cases are very hard on extractors) I have been very happy with the ammo produced by PMP, Armscorp, and MagTech. I have shot thousands of rounds of this ammo and except for a very occasional hard primer, it has functioned flawlessly. I have been told that weapons with tighter tolerances, like 1911's, do not like this ammo since it tends to produce more fouling but weapons like Glocks and Sigs will eat it like candy.

I have also tried PMC ammo as a lost cost alternative but was disappointed with the quality of ammo. I purchased a case, 1,000 rounds, of their 45 ACP and had at least 20 failure to fires from that 1,000. I had much better luck with their 223 ammo. A friend and I shot ~3000 rounds of it at GunSite without any problems.
