Bianchi's Open Top Double Carrier
| This is Bianchi's open top double magazine pouch for single stack magazines. This is the best nylon magazine carrier I have found for duty belts. The carrier provides appropriate spacing allowing both magazines to face the same direction. There is no flap on the carrier which dramatically improves your ability to reload quickly. Although no shown in these pictures, there is a rubber encased screw to adjust tension on the magazines and insure their security despite the lack of a flap. Finally, the pocket for the magazines is just less than 3" deep making proper indexing very easy.
If I worked for Bianchi, I would remove or reduce the flap behind the magazines and mount the belt pass-through lower on the carrier to raise it and provide better access. Despite these needed changes and especially when compared to some of the other products on the market, this carrier deserves and "excellent" rating. |
