Uncle Mikes Quadruple Carrier
| This is the quadruple magazine pouch for single stack magazines from Uncle Mikes. This is a much better design than the Bianchi solution and is basically a satisfactory design. This magazine pouch does provide for spacing between the magazine allowing for the magazines to all face the same direction. The pouch even included material to raise the forward magazines and make them easier to extract/index - that is why the forward magazine is sitting higher. Additionally, the actual pocket for each magazine is slightly less than 3 1/4" deep which makes indexing easier. When combined with the spacers, much more of the magazine sits up and speeds the reload. Finally, the sides of the plastic interior liner are notched and fold inward to provide tension on the magazine providing excellent security. One thing I don't like about this product is its feel. As is typical of Uncle Mike's products, the nylon is thinner than its competitors and the products don't wear as well over the long term. As I said, if you really need a quadruple magazine pouch this is an acceptable/satisfactory design. |
