For starters, the pocket of this carrier is more shallow than the Galco or Blade-Tech designs meaning that more of your hand grips the magazine. This carrier does have a tension adjustment for retention - the company even gives you the correct size allen wrench - and the magazine is very secure. Also, if you look at the clip you'll notice that its design is thicker than the others. This is nice since it allows your hand to slide between the magazine and your body more easily. Put simply, this is the fastest magazine carrier I've been able to find. This is definitely an "excellent product."
